New Walking Distance

Today I tried a new walking way around my home and alongside Lake Chabot. Unfortunately I got lost in Castro Valley. Fortunately I could catch a bus back to Bay Fair. To make it better next time I made a map...It takes about 2 hours to walk this distance. It's a beautiful area and Lake Chabot is a gem..

Lake Merritt

I've been walking around Lake Merritt for a months now and I still enjoy the beauty of the lake and all my comrades which are there for the same reason. The only problem is the early heat. I have to be there as early as possible to avoid it. Today some people from a community center were there and they gave out free bottles of water with a business card. I appreciated it though I had my own bottle of water with me. When I was back at Bay Fair the sun was going to boil me alive and it was very hard to walk the last mile back to our house up the hills. But I made it.
