Bei beiden diesen Stoffen konnte ich nicht widerstehen. Einfach wahnsinnig schön..Der blaue Batikstoff ist aus superweichem Kona Cotton, handgefärbt nach einer japanischen Technik SHIBORI, was wunderschöne Farbverläufe ergibt. Der andere Stoff ist ein seltener Vintage Webstoff der eher schweren Qualität. Es hat unglaublich schöne Farben und das Muster sieht aus, wie kleine aufgefädelte Perlen. Ich habe davon Textilarmbänder genäht, die ich in meinem Shop anbiete.

I couldn't resist buying these beautiful fabrics. The one in blue colors is made out of hand dyed Kona cotton. It is dyed in a japanese technique called SHIBORI what makes this stunning color blends. The other one is a rare Vintage tapestry in epic colors like a coral reef. I made two bracelets which I sell in my shop.

Vintage Täschchen BLUE WAVE/ Vintage Pouch

Dieses Vintage Täschchen habe ich heute genäht, als ich die Vintage Spitze aus den 50er Jahren in die Hände bekam. Sie ist abwechselnd weiss und blau, weshalb ich sie BLUE WAVE genannt habe. Den kleinen Lederknopf auf der Front habe ich von einem Vintage Tweed Herrenanzug gemopst, den ich neulich gekauft habe. Sie ist gefüttert mit blauem, klein gemusterten Paisley Baumwollstoff.
Ich habe ausserdem noch zwei von den Armbändern aus gelber Jute gemacht, aber es war zu dunkel, um sie zu fotografieren. Das Täschchen und die neuen Armbänder findet ihr aber bald in meinem Shop.

I made this Vintage pouch today. The Vintage lace an the front is from the 50ies which I found in my accessory box. It has a beautiful color scheme in white and blues so I call the pouch BLUE WAVE. The button above the lace is from a Vintage suit which I bought in our thrift store. It is fully lined with cotton in paisley pattern. I also made two new bracelets from the yellow jute but is was to dark to make good pictures. You will find the new items in my shop soon.

Textil Armband/ Textile Bracelet

Das Armband habe ich heute genäht, inspiriert durch die wundervollen Stoffe, Farben und dem wunderschönen Hornknopf aus Guatemala. Ich habe es SUN DANCE genannt. Das kleine gewebte Stoffteil ist ein Original aus Indien und passt nicht nur farblich zum Design. Dies ist das erste Armband einer neuen Kollektion, die meine Liebe zu natürlichen Materialien widerspiegelt. Gibts in meinem Shop.

Today I sewed this bracelet inspired by the fabrics and the beautiful button from Guatemala. The brown piece of fabric is an original from India and fits the design perfectly. This is the first bracelet of my new collection which shows my love for natural materials. You can buy it in my shop.

My new shop is open!

Now I can post the good news because Olli did a great job and designed the logo for my new shop on Dawanda called AUGENWEIDEN. Augenweiden means a feast for the eyes. Finally I can offer all my sewing projects in this special shop and I am very excited. After a few days I already sold two of my cosmetic pouches. I'm more than inspired to make new stuff and my ideas are endless. But I have to manage the time between all my shops and websites. So I decided the next project will be a new article for SFJourney with the auspicious title "Geldwäsche in SF", so stay tuned ;)

Heute kann ich die gute Nachricht überbringen, dass ich meinen neuen Shop auf Dawanda geöffnet habe mit dem blumigen Namen AUGENWEIDEN. Olli hat mir dafür ein professionelles Logo erstellt. Nun kann ich endlich meine ganzen selbstgenähten Sachen in diesem speziellen Shop anbieten. Gleich in den ersten Tagen habe ich zwei meiner Kosmetiktaschen verkauft. Ich kann es nicht erwarten meine Ideen umzusetzen, aber jetzt muss ich meine Zeit aufteilen zwischen all den Shops und Websites und so habe ich mich entschlossen, als nächstes einen neuen Artikel für SFJourney zu schreiben mit dem vielversprechenden Titel "Geldwäsche in SF".
